The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Ajapi getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Matheus Gaúcho hit a great ball. Ururai SS's Erik Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denílson de Almeida in the 8th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Ajapi got a freekick which was hit by Jean Breckenfeld. A hard shot 16 in the game by João Adolfo Pernambucano from a close distance when the talented Ademir Nascimento managed to make a qualified save. Ajapi's players were relieved. 18 minutes into the game, Dida Mazza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ajapi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ururai SS the free kick. Dida Mazza hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the game, João Adolfo Pernambucano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ademir Nascimento was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Abelardo Fernandez came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Ururai SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Fernandez couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abelardo Fernandez got free with Ademir Nascimento in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ajapi's Ademir Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Fernandez in the 32nd minute of play. João Adolfo Pernambucano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Angelo de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Ajapi's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Fernandez came free, but Ademir Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denílson de Almeida to make the kick off. João Adolfo Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademir Nascimento having to interfere. Ademir Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Adolfo Pernambucano in the 62nd minute of play. Luiz Paulo de Senna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erik Mesquita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Ajapi's Ademir Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Fernandez in the 67th minute of play. If João Adolfo Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Paulo de Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Ajapi's Luiz Paulo de Senna got a free kick in the 79th minute. Ademir Nascimento didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ururai SS's João Adolfo Pernambucano shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. 89 minutes into the match, Ururai SS's João Adolfo Pernambucano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ademir Nascimento narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
