Oquinimia SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Acioli SC the free kick. In the 4th match minute, Oquinimia SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquinho Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute of the match Zé Pedro Brito shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Renatinho de Lara showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Artur Getsko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renatinho de Lara having to interfere. If Pedro Luís Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Guilherme Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renatinho de Lara having to interfere. If Válbson Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Artur Getsko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renatinho de Lara was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Ademar Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Renatinho de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Acioli SC's Artur Getsko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renatinho de Lara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artur Getsko made a kick off. The throw-in from Geraldo Ceresso in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Acioli SC's Ademar Quirino. Dorival Macedo who after having made a long run got a chance for a shot on goal. Despite a couple of nice moves Gilson Rosa's wasn't to be fooled and made an easy save when Dorival Macedo was beeing forced to shoot. In the 58thth minute of the game Artur Getsko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oquinimia SS's Renatinho de Lara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Oquinimia SS's Renatinho de Lara got control of the ball when Artur Getsko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ademar Quirino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A throw-in in the 65th minute of the game was made by Dorival Macedo with Pedro Luís Barbosa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 67 minutes into the match, Artur Getsko notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Oquinimia SS's Renatinho de Lara. Renatinho de Lara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Renatinho de Lara stood somewhat misplaced when Artur Getsko came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 71 minute. After 74 played minutes Oquinimia SS got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luís Barbosa. Renatinho de Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Getsko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ademar Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Renatinho de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Acioli SC's Artur Getsko was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 91st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Acioli SC's Artur Getsko in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oquinimia SS's goalie prevented a goal. The Acioli SC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Acioli SC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
