Yauacana's Zé Paulo Pimenta got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Durvalino Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauã Moreira having to interfere. Durvalino Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Cauã Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Zé Paulo Pimenta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zé Paulo Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Zé Paulo Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yauacana's Durvalino Lopez got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zé Paulo Pimenta struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Cauã Moreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yauacana. After having played for 22 minutes, Zé Paulo Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yauacana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Paulo Pimenta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zé Paulo Pimenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauã Moreira having to interfere. Durvalino Lopez struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Cauã Moreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yauacana. Ronaldo Trancosos short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Jaime Passos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Róbson Bastos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Jaime Passos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Durvalino Lopez in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cauã Moreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Glauco Nogueira in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cauã Moreira saved Canoeiros SS from getting behind. 46 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Trancoso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jaime Passos. Yauacana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldo Trancoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Róbson Bastos to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Zé Paulo Pimenta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cauã Moreira. That made the score 1-1 in the 53 minute of play. In the 58th minute, Zé Paulo Pimenta made a precise shot to the right of Cauã Moreira. Canoeiros SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Durvalino Lopez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Cauã Moreira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jaime Passos came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Canoeiros SS's Róbson Bastos. But to his dismay, Róbson Bastos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. When Chicão Marquez fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Canoeiros SS's protests and gave Chicão Marquez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd match minute, Canoeiros SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murilo Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. Durvalino Lopez succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 75th playminute. Jaime Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Paulo Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Durvalino Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zé Paulo Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Durvalino Lopez got free with Cauã Moreira in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle sounded Yauacana left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Canoeiros SS.
