The supporters of Parahu booed when Yauacana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeu Novaes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Zé Paulo Pimenta came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Yauacana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Paulo Pimenta couldn't finish the play. In the 10th match minute, Parahu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Vítor Abraão to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Yauacana's Wiliam Batista tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Zé Paulo Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Yauacana's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Ferreira came free, but Jaime Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastião Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jaime Passos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sebastião Ferreira came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Parahu fans jumped to their feet. Oscar Gaúcho ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Parahu's Oscar Gaúcho to fire away a dangerous shot which Jaime Passos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jaime Passos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastião Ferreira went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 43rd minute, Sílvio Luiz Varela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zé Paulo Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Enio Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Yauacana players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Parahu were winning 0-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastião Ferreira was the one to do the kick off. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Parahu reached it. Sílvio Luiz Varela kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Durvalino Lopez in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enio Saraiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Parahu's Enio Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo Pimenta in the 73rd minute of play. In the 78th minute of the match Wiliam Batista sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enio Saraiva skillfully saved the ball. In the 84th minute Zé Paulo Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enio Saraiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Parahu's Sebastião Ferreira got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Parahu eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
