Davi Fantini made in the 4th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by EC ITAPEMA's Dedé da Cunha. Diamantino Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th match minute, EC ITAPEMA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. Elder Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Loureiro in the 10th minute of the match. In the 13th match minute, Eleuterio SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davi Fantini to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the game, one of Eleuterio SS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ahmet Hayri Satıkbuğra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Eleuterio SS booed when EC ITAPEMA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jarbas Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Elder Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elder Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Loureiro in the 32nd minute of the match. Jarbas Varela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Elder Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of EC ITAPEMA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Eleuterio SS:s goal. The referee gave Eleuterio SS a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Claudinei Trancoso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of EC ITAPEMA's Elder Quadros. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Hayri Satıkbuğra to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo de Almeida in the 52nd minute of play forced Eleuterio SS's goalkeeper Fernando Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Hayri Satıkbuğra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Moreira having to interfere. Fernando Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedé da Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jarbas Varela got free with Elder Quadros in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diamantino Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Elder Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mário Sena hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Eleuterio SS's Marcel de Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Marcus Breckenfeld notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Eleuterio SS's Fernando Moreira. Fernando Moreira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th minute Marcus Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Breckenfeld in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Moreira saved Eleuterio SS from getting behind. Diamantino Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Elder Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, EC ITAPEMA's Marcus Breckenfeld sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Moreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. EC ITAPEMA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
