Sydney Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sydney Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Fabrício Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sydney Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sydney Martins in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabrício Silva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomás Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrício Silva having to interfere. After a rather tough play, UCSNEI's Erivaldo Maia got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute, Vitório Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. UCSNEI's Fabrício Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sydney Martins in the 28th minute of play. In the 32ndth minute of the game Vitório Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Convenfo AD's Osvaldo Sabóia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 41 minutes in the game, Vitório Andrade fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Osvaldo Sabóia having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Vitório Andrade made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Cléber Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Osvaldo Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráuzio Carvalho in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Sydney Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Convenfo AD's goal looked a bit too open when Dráuzio Carvalho came free, but Osvaldo Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Convenfo AD's Osvaldo Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Andrade in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, UCSNEI's César Branco got a free kick in the 64th minute. Otávio Valle in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabrício Silva, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 70 minutes into the game, Nicolas de Godoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Convenfo AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UCSNEI the free kick. In the 70th match minute, Convenfo AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas de Godoi to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldo Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitório Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Fabrício Silva didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 74th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. In the 78th minute Sydney Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dráuzio Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
