Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ediberto Salgado started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Embira's Leopoldo Cordeiro got a free kick in the 6th minute. Alan Melo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luizinho Arósio in the 9th minute of play. Leopoldo Cordeiro's late challenge caught a Uomaloli SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leopoldo Cordeiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th match minute, Embira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. Luizinho Arósio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Alan Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ediberto Salgado in the 18th minute of play forced Uomaloli SC's goalkeeper Evaristo Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Romeu Hames fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Embira's protests and gave Romeu Hames a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, Embira's Ediberto Salgado dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When Romeu Hames came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Embira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeu Hames couldn't finish the play. When Gildo Furtado fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Embira's protests and gave Gildo Furtado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th match minute, Embira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gildo Furtado to maneuver through the defense. Geovani Amaral came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Evaristo Pinheiro could save by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Geovani Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Embira's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovani Amaral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luizinho Arósio made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Gildo Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Barros during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Uomaloli SC's Ernesto Barros got a free kick in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Ediberto Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Embira's supporters rose to their feet, but Ediberto Salgado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute, Romeu Hames hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Embira's Alan Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luizinho Arósio in the 65th minute of play. In the 69th minute Luizinho Arósio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovani Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Uomaloli SC's Luizinho Arósio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. If Luizinho Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uomaloli SC's Hugo Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Embira's Mauro Meireles got a free kick in the 90th minute. Geovani Amaral took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evaristo Pinheiro. Evaristo Pinheiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Embira's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
