After having played for 8 minutes, João Pedro Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catingal AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Pedro Marinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 9 played minutes Furna SC got a freekick which was hit by Cristóvão Lara. When João Pedro Marinho came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Catingal AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Pedro Marinho couldn't finish the play. Edgar Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davi Correia having to interfere. Jairo de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, João Pedro Marinho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Michel Silveira, 1-0. Davi Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Trancoso in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Duda Meira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Furna SC's Michel Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pedro Marinho in the 36th minute of play. Michel Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Pedro Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Furna SC's goalkeeper Michel Silveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tales da Fonseca. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 55th minute of the match Juvenal Breckenfeld shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Davi Correia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tales da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 played minutes Furna SC got a freekick which was hit by Betinho de Castro. Michel Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pedro Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tales da Fonseca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michel Silveira having to make a save. 66 minutes into the match, Catingal AD's goalkeeper Davi Correia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Trancoso. When Edgar Trancoso came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Furna SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Trancoso couldn't finish the play. Davi Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Trancoso in the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Edgar Trancoso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Davi Correia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 88th minute, Frederico Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diamantino Lago took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Michel Silveira. Furna SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Edgar Trancoso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 98thth minute tested the skills of Davi Correia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Catingal AD had won after a very even match.
