Pedro Hoffmann helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Pedro Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Pacataga's goal looked a bit too open when João Torres came free, but Falcão Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pacataga's goalkeeper Falcão Martins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 42ndth minute of the game João Torres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pacataga's Falcão Martins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jânio Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Alberto Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Torres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedro Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Luiz Paulo Pirani who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Falcão Martins when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Falcão Martins was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and João Torres capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. João Torres really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. João Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Pupunhas's Eduardo Novaes got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 93rd minute, Manolo Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Pupunhas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
