Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edvaldo Eger made the kick off which started today's match. With his leg Faustão Neto managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Cabura FC's Sandro Antunes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 5 minutes of play, Nitero's Ciro Loyola made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emílio da Silva was left in no man's land by his defense there! 8 minutes into the match, Edvaldo Eger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emílio da Silva. Cabura FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edvaldo Eger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Sandro Antunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Faustão Neto made a huge save. Faustão Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Almir Teixeira in the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cabura FC's Eurico Moraes got a free kick in the 24th minute. Sandro Antunes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faustão Neto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Faustão Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Almir Teixeira to strike the kick off in the second half. Faustão Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandro Antunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Faustão Neto came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Cabura FC's Almir Teixeira. But to his dismay, Almir Teixeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After having played for 62 minutes, Edvaldo Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nitero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edvaldo Eger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Nitero's goal looked a bit too open when Almir Teixeira came free, but Faustão Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th match minute, Nitero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benê Trigo to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the game, Ciro Loyola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Emílio da Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ciro Loyola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Emílio da Silva made a huge save. When Nitero's Edvaldo Eger in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cabura FC's goalie prevented a goal. The Nitero supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nitero would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
