In the 2nd minute, Nilson Paulista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wesley Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denílson Mesquita having to interfere. In the last second Denílson Mesquita throw himself and got hold of the ball when João Carlos Furtado in the 9thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Denílson Mesquita made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Wesley Oliveira sent off a good shot on target. Claudinei Lara charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudinei Lara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Miragaia AD getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Claudinei Lara hit a great ball. After 15 played minutes OUTLIERS BLACK got a freekick which was hit by Wesley Oliveira. Lucas Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Juvenal Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Miragaia AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agenor Carioca to maneuver through the defense. Olívio Rossi, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Wesley Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Wesley Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. OUTLIERS BLACK's supporters rose to their feet, but Wesley Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denílson Mesquita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wesley Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wesley Oliveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denílson Mesquita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Carlos Furtado's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. If Nilson Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 37th minute João Carlos Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denílson Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Juvenal Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Miragaia AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of OUTLIERS BLACK:s goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by João Carlos Furtado in the 58th minute of play forced Miragaia AD's goalkeeper Denílson Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. OUTLIERS BLACK's Wesley Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Sebastião Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. OUTLIERS BLACK's Juvenal Messias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save OUTLIERS BLACK from getting a goal against them. Wesley Oliveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denílson Mesquita read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 81st minute João Carlos Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denílson Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Miragaia AD's Claudinei Lara got a free kick in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Wesley Oliveira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Denílson Mesquita. Miragaia AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wesley Oliveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Carlos Furtado in the 86th minute of play forced Miragaia AD's goalkeeper Denílson Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denílson Mesquita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sidney Favoretto's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Wesley Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Denílson Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juvenal Messias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Montenegro in the 95th minute. Emanuel Paiva took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juvenal Messias. OUTLIERS BLACK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
