In the 70th minute, Pedro Augusto Saraiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pedro Augusto Saraiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dito Azevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Augusto Saraiva ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 83rd minute of the match, Pedro Augusto Saraiva got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dito Azevedo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 85 minutes into the match, Diamantina's Raphael Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Terra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pedro Augusto Saraiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Dito Azevedo made a huge save. Hélder da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dito Azevedo having to interfere. In the 95th minute Hélder da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dito Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
