Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Aparaju SC booed when Jaceaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexsandro Quadros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 6 minutes, Victor Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aparaju SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Barreto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nico Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Albuquerque having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Aparaju SC's zone, Hermínio Breckenfeld stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Genílson Recife came out of the goal and Hermínio Breckenfeld tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th match minute, Aparaju SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hortêncio Pimenta to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Jaceaba's Juvenal Antunes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 28th minute Leonardo Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genílson Recife saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermínio Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Flávio Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aparaju SC's Nico Arce got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Leonardo Rodrigues fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Hermínio Breckenfeld might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Genílson Recife. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermínio Breckenfeld ran back to his position shaking his head. 47 minutes into the game, Leonardo Rodrigues recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Genílson Recife. Leonardo Rodrigues showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Genílson Recife made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Leonardo Rodrigues sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Nico Arce made the kick off in the second half. Hermínio Breckenfeld struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Genílson Recife didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaceaba. After some careless play in the Aparaju SC defense, Leonardo Rodrigues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Genílson Recife. The Aparaju SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Genílson Recife should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute, Cristian Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nico Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Severino Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jaceaba's Ramiro Albuquerque proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Jaceaba from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Arce in the 80th minute of play forced Jaceaba's goalkeeper Ramiro Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nico Arce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Genílson Recife showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermínio Breckenfeld in the 83rd minute of the match. Genílson Recife took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genílson Recife having to interfere. Aparaju SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
