Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luís Guilherme da Rocha started the match with the kick off. After 6 played minutes Tapuio got a freekick which was hit by Gugu Cardoso. When Marcinho Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Gremio RedBull fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcinho Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute, Luís Guilherme Mendonça sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gremio RedBull's Breno Hoffmann didn't even have to move. When Cássio Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Tapuio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cássio Paiva couldn't finish the play. Cássio Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Breno Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Breno Hoffmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cássio Paiva went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cássio Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breno Hoffmann having to interfere. The Tapuio fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Tapuio's Gugu Cardoso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Serginho Britto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Gil Pirani made a huge save. Marcinho Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Pirani having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gugu Cardoso was the one to do the kick off. Gil Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcinho Rodrigues in the 52nd minute of the match. Luís Guilherme da Rocha's late challenge caught a Tapuio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Guilherme da Rocha helped the player get up and apologised. After 63 played minutes Gremio RedBull got a freekick which was hit by Luís Guilherme da Rocha. Cássio Paiva's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Breno Hoffmann firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gremio RedBull's Breno Hoffmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gugu Cardoso in the 68th minute of play. After 70 minutes Gremio RedBull's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luís Guilherme Mendonça who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Tapuio's Luís Guilherme Mendonça to fire away a dangerous shot which Breno Hoffmann despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Cássio Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gugu Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Breno Hoffmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gugu Cardoso in the 85th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gremio RedBull's zone, Gugu Cardoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Breno Hoffmann came out of the goal and Gugu Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Tapuio getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Virgílio Pernambucano hit a great ball. If Gugu Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serginho Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Tapuio's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
