Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gracas's Delfim Donato started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Edson Donato left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Camboim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 6th minute, Frédson Moura got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Vânderson Moraes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nando Vides, 1-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Gracas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Camboim:s goal. Nando Vides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delfim Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camboim's Nando Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Donato in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Camboim booed when Gracas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vânderson Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 played minutes Gracas got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Arruda. Nando Vides made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Christiano Arruda sent off a good shot on target.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frédson Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. If Valdir Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valdir Rossi might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nando Vides. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdir Rossi ran back to his position shaking his head. Vânderson Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nando Vides having to interfere. In the 57th minute Delfim Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Delfim Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Delfim Donato came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Gracas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delfim Donato couldn't finish the play. Armando Mello took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nando Vides. Camboim's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 88th minute of the match Tales Fonseca shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nando Vides showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Vito Furlan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gracas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Camboim the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Vito Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Gracas lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
