Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Japi SS booed when Gracas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdir Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Delfim Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christiano Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Denílson Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delfim Donato hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute Vânderson Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denílson Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Gracas's Delfim Donato sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Denílson Massa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christiano Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vânderson Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Japi SS's Denílson Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christiano Arruda in the 34th minute of play. In the 38th minute Delfim Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denílson Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Denílson Massa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Samuel Montenegro made the kick off in the second half. Christiano Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Denílson Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Delfim Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gracas's supporters rose to their feet, but Delfim Donato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denílson Massa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christiano Arruda in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denílson Massa saved Japi SS from getting behind. Delfim Donato scored 3-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Denílson Massa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 78 minutes, Delfim Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gracas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delfim Donato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dráusio Furtado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dráusio Furtado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Sílvio Luís Albuquerque made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldir Maciel during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Christiano Arruda took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denílson Massa. Denílson Massa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Christiano Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Denílson Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gracas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
