In the 2nd match minute, Berigui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sérgio Vides to maneuver through the defense. When Macaranduba FC's Diamantino Cosme in 4 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Paulinho Cardoso guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Marquinhos Guedes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Claudinei de Amaral made a huge save. A collision led to Macaranduba FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Eriberto Lima hit a great ball. Paulinho Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Cosme in the 9th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Macaranduba FC's zone, Marquinhos Guedes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinei de Amaral came out of the goal and Marquinhos Guedes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Anísio Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Macaranduba FC's Mauro Fernandez got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The audience was convinced that Anísio Urbano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudinei de Amaral was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. 31 minutes into the game, Rômulo Borges cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. The wind increased when Anísio Urbano made the kick off in the second half. Paulinho Cardoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diamantino Cosme in the 57th minute. After 76 minutes of play, Macaranduba FC's Diamantino Cosme made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulinho Cardoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Paulinho Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rômulo Borges in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rdth minute of the game Marquinhos Guedes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Macaranduba FC's Claudinei de Amaral was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Macaranduba FC's Edinho Oliveira got a free kick in the 90th minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Marquinhos Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berigui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marquinhos Guedes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulinho Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rômulo Borges in the 97th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Macaranduba FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
