Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rômulo Borges got the match started through his kick off. Elder Alagoano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rômulo Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. A collision led to Macaranduba FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Rômulo Borges hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the game, Ernani Guimarães was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Macaranduba FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ATL Betaort the free kick. A collision led to Macaranduba FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ernani Guimarães hit a great ball. In the 16th match minute, ATL Betaort was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Telmo Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. When Diamantino Cosme came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Macaranduba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diamantino Cosme couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, ATL Betaort's goal looked a bit too open when Rômulo Borges came free, but Elder Alagoano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute ATL Betaort were awarded a corner. Maurinho Alves went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Maurinho Alves almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Macaranduba FC's Claudinei de Amaral did a great save. In the 29th minute, Didi Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diamantino Cosme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Elder Alagoano made a huge save. Mauro Fernandez came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Elder Alagoano could save by the left post. Didi Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Didi Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudinei de Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 47 minutes into the match, ATL Betaort's goalkeeper Elder Alagoano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diamantino Cosme. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Didi Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei de Amaral having to interfere. Didi Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ATL Betaort's Didi Mendonça got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Didi Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinei de Amaral having to interfere. In the 69th minute Rômulo Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder Alagoano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rômulo Borges hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. ATL Betaort's Elder Alagoano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Cosme in the 77th minute of play. Elder Alagoano came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Macaranduba FC's Diamantino Cosme. But to his dismay, Diamantino Cosme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Elder Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Cosme in the 86th minute of the match. Didi Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Telmo Nóbrega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Didi Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Claudinei de Amaral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ATL Betaort. ATL Betaort were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
