Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Yuri Mello started the match with the kick off. Gilberto Vinhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yuri Mello in the 8th minute of the match. Agenor Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Gilberto Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Yuri Mello fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gilberto Vinhas, passed just outside the right post. 13 minutes into the game, Agenor Cruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Parijos EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bocaiuval the free kick. In the 13th minute, Agenor Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes in the game, Yuri Mello fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Gilberto Vinhas having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Bocaiuval got a freekick which was hit by Thomás Velloso. Yuri Mello might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto Vinhas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yuri Mello ran back to his position shaking his head. If Samuca Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Agenor Cruz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gilberto Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agenor Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 34 played minutes Bocaiuval got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Eduardo Barbosa. Alfredo Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Gilberto Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 48 minutes into the game, Alfredo Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Parijos EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bocaiuval the free kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardinho Furtado to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Parijos EC's Romeu Eger got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Adhemar Recife showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Agenor Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yuri Mello struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Gilberto Vinhas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Parijos EC. If Ricardinho Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute Yuri Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Vinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Agenor Cruz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilberto Vinhas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 79 minutes into the game, Yuri Mello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Gilberto Vinhas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yuri Mello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilberto Vinhas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agenor Cruz in the 93rd minute of play. Yuri Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Carlos Eduardo Barbosa fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bocaiuval's protests and gave Carlos Eduardo Barbosa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th minute, Carlos Eduardo Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
