Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dedê Gaspar got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Compasso getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Nilmar Barbosa hit a great ball. Jonathan Pena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Macedo in the 15th minute of the match. When Belchior Hames came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the cruz azul cfc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Belchior Hames couldn't finish the play. If Aírton Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Belchior Hames kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tiago Souza. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. Compasso's Tiago Souza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Compasso from getting a goal against them. When cruz azul cfc's Belchior Hames in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Compasso's goalie prevented a goal. Belchior Hames received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Tiago Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Compasso got a freekick which was hit by Frederico Fernandes. Belchior Hames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Souza having to interfere. After 38 minutes, Hermínio Arruda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Compasso and the cruz azul cfc players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Compasso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Arruda to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Belchior Hames to strike the kick off in the second half. Compasso's Tiago Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aírton Matorin in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Compasso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederico Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aírton Matorin in the 61st minute of play forced Compasso's goalkeeper Tiago Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, cruz azul cfc's Aírton Matorin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiago Souza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walmyr de Sena got free with Jonathan Pena in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcos Travassos might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiago Souza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcos Travassos ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 79th minute Belchior Hames shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belchior Hames received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Tiago Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the cruz azul cfc players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
