In the 29th match minute, Esporte Clube MOGIANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basílio Miranda to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Serginho Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juarês Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serginho Romero having to interfere. If Juarês Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dênis Mendes hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Túlio Negri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Igarapeba's supporters rose to their feet, but Túlio Negri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdo Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 70 played minutes Renato Zonta rounded Igarapeba's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Serafim Velloso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Serginho Romero made a huge save. Reynaldo Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Igarapeba's Edvaldo Marinho got a free kick in the 95th minute. Esporte Clube MOGIANO's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
