The supporters of Chulapasso booed when Igarapeba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marquinhos Urbano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Narciso Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belchior Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 34 minutes, Isaltino Santana made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Igarapeba's Serginho Romero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39thth minute of the game Isaltino Santana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Igarapeba's Serginho Romero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th minute Natã Ferraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serginho Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaltino Santana in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serginho Romero saved Igarapeba from getting behind.

When Belchior Dantas, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 58 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Narciso Simões was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 63rd match minute, Chulapasso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Gabriel Cabral to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd match minute, Chulapasso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Gabriel Cabral to maneuver through the defense. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serginho Romero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th minute, Aníbal Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chulapasso's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
