Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Norberto Duarte kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fellipe Moraes in the 3rd minute of play forced Calderoes's goalkeeper Rony Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Moisés Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Calderoes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moisés Abreu couldn't finish the play. After 12 minutes of play, Cassu AD's Edgard Arósio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rony Marinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rony Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Arósio in the 20th minute of play. Calderoes's Norberto Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Norberto Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sérgio Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Edson Couto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moisés Abreu in the 37th minute. Fellipe Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Moisés Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calderoes's supporters rose to their feet, but Moisés Abreu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edson Couto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Norberto Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edson Couto having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgard Arósio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Norberto Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Calderoes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Duarte couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute Moisés Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edson Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Norberto Duarte might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edson Couto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Norberto Duarte ran back to his position shaking his head. Edson Couto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norberto Duarte's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Moisés Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norberto Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Calderoes getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Norberto Duarte hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Cassu AD's goal looked a bit too open when Moisés Abreu came free, but Edson Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edson Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Duarte in the 85th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norberto Duarte in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edson Couto saved Cassu AD from getting behind. If Edgard Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
