Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Calderoes's Oséas de Barros started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Bernardo Sampaio fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calderoes's protests and gave Bernardo Sampaio a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anselmo Branco in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rony Marinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the match, Fellipe Terra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rony Marinho. Calderoes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fellipe Terra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Calderoes's Norberto Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oséas de Barros struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Oswaldo Diniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calderoes. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Virgílio Mandrak during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Almecegas's Virgílio Mandrak got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Oséas de Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oswaldo Diniz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Calderoes's zone, Fellipe Terra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rony Marinho came out of the goal and Fellipe Terra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zeca Queiroz's late challenge caught a Almecegas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeca Queiroz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th minute, Zeca Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Anselmo Branco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rony Marinho was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Anselmo Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Rony Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Anselmo Branco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rony Marinho was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Oséas de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Diniz having to interfere. Virgílio Mandrak hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 43rd match minute, Almecegas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorian Baiano to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The audience was convinced that Anselmo Branco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rony Marinho was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Cássio Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Rony Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Vander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Branco in the 58th minute of play forced Calderoes's goalkeeper Rony Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oswaldo Diniz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norberto Duarte in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Oséas de Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oswaldo Diniz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norberto Duarte got free with Oswaldo Diniz in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th minute, Oséas de Barros had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Lucas Rosa charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Rosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Almecegas! Norberto Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calderoes's Rony Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fellipe Terra in the 92nd minute of play. Fellipe Terra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernandão Paraíba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Oswaldo Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Almecegas supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Calderoes's performance. The match ended with a win for Calderoes.
