A wasted opportunity for Mamatos FC. 14 minutes into the game, Diogo Arce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bugre SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mamatos FC the free kick. Diogo Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Mamatos FC's Marc Tingberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomé Leão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Tomé Leão was a little too slow when Marc Tingberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-1. Marc Tingberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomé Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilson Abreu in the 32nd minute of the match. If Romeu Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diogo Arce blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Pedro Travassos having to make a save. Stancho Búlgaranov charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stancho Búlgaranov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. José Pedro Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marc Tingberg made a kick off. If Marc Tingberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Marc Tingberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomé Leão was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Dudu Goiano hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Mamatos FC's José Pedro Travassos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Mamatos FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Bugre SS's zone, Marc Tingberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomé Leão came out of the goal and Marc Tingberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, Bugre SS's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Tingberg came free, but Tomé Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marc Tingberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé Leão having to interfere. Tomé Leão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marc Tingberg's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Cléber da Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Tomé Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomé Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Tingberg in the 89th minute of play. Nilson Abreu struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Tomé Leão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mamatos FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marc Tingberg in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomé Leão saved Bugre SS from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeu Quintal in the 97th minute of play forced Mamatos FC's goalkeeper José Pedro Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
