After having played for 4 minutes, Falcão Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chorocho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Falcão Neiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samuel Salles hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. If Ademar das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Chorocho's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Falcão came free, but Júlio Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Abel Falcão recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Júlio Félix. Abel Falcão showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Gildo Coelho's late challenge caught a Taiama SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gildo Coelho helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Taiama SC booed when Chorocho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gildo Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Taiama SC's Abel Falcão in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chorocho's goalie prevented a goal. Délio Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taiama SC's Délio Campidelis got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abel Falcão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Félix having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ademar das Neves was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Abel Falcão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taiama SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Falcão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leandro das Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Wilian França was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chorocho's goalkeeper Júlio Félix, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Agenor Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Délio Campidelis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Taiama SC's Délio Campidelis got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 69 played minutes, Taiama SC's Kauan Varela shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Júlio Félix came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Taiama SC reached it. After 80 minutes, Tiago Massa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chorocho and the Taiama SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Taiama SC booed when Chorocho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Massa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Sebastião Vinhas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 90th minute, Falcão Neiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sebastião Vinhas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chorocho walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
