Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edu Amaral took the kick off in the first half of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Davi de Medeiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bola Mais Um's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Joannopolis the free kick. The supporters of Joannopolis booed when Bola Mais Um was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davi de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Joannopolis's zone, Rubens Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Paulo Ferreira came out of the goal and Rubens Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edu Amaral might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Paulo Ferreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edu Amaral ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 19th minute, Bola Mais Um's Edu Amaral dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Davi de Medeiros hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Rubens Silva's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Pedro Paulo Ferreira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Cardozo in the 32nd minute of play forced Bola Mais Um's goalkeeper Amadeu Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th play minute Rubens Silva came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pedro Paulo Ferreira. 2-0. In the 44th minute, Rubens Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Paulo Ferreira was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. When Cristian Campidelis fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joannopolis's protests and gave Cristian Campidelis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bola Mais Um booed when Joannopolis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Campidelis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Renato Matos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Hortêncio Cardozo came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Joannopolis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hortêncio Cardozo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubens Silva in the 53rd minute of play forced Joannopolis's goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Joannopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Tinoco came free, but Pedro Paulo Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Igor Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th match minute, Joannopolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Edu Amaral notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Joannopolis's Pedro Paulo Ferreira. Pedro Paulo Ferreira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 70 minutes into the game, Renato Matos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Francisco Furtado during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. João Francisco Furtado hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Joannopolis's Hortêncio Cardozo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeu Quintal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Amadeu Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rubens Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Edu Amaral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rubens Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Paulo Ferreira having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Joannopolis's zone, Edu Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Paulo Ferreira came out of the goal and Edu Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joannopolis's Pedro Paulo Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubens Silva in the 94th minute of play. Pedro Paulo Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubens Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Bola Mais Um were the better team. Bola Mais Um's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
