Bola Mais Um's supporters rose to their feet, but Rubens Silva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Linares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rubens Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Linares having to interfere. After 45 minutes, Davi de Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bola Mais Um and the Rinopolis S.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bola Mais Um getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Davi de Medeiros hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernesto Alagoano was the one to do the kick off. Edu Amaral was extremely unlucky when he, in the 51st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Rubens Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Linares having to interfere. Dieguinho Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Bola Mais Um's Edu Amaral slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Reynaldo Linares. That made the score 0-3 after 57 minutes of play. In the 65th minute, Rubens Silva reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Reynaldo Linares. The goal made the score 0-4. In the 70th minute, Rinopolis S.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Edu Amaral fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 74 minutes into the match, Rinopolis S.C.'s goalkeeper Reynaldo Linares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rubens Silva. Rubens Silva took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reynaldo Linares. Reynaldo Linares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Rinopolis S.C.'s Reynaldo Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Amaral in the 84th minute of play. Dieguinho Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Bola Mais Um's Edson Miranda broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Reynaldo Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edu Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Rubens Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Reynaldo Linares made a huge save.
