A collision led to Torreao getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Cléber Andrade hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marek Fiala in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Didi Trigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dudu de Lara hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 12th match minute, Torreao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléber Andrade to maneuver through the defense. João Carlos das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Marinho in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Denílson Maia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. João Carlos das Neves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Tersariolli Team's Jerônimo Arruda got a free kick in the 18th minute. Denílson Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Marek Fiala's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Didi Trigo was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmílson Marinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of João Carlos das Neves. Jerônimo Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Marek Fiala left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tersariolli Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Didi Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Fiala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Tersariolli Team were awarded a corner. João Paulo Carvalho went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 88th minute of the match Tersariolli Team got a corner. Torreao's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. João Paulo Carvalho ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Tersariolli Team lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
