Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Flávio Jacinto took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alessandro Galvão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Artur Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessandro Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mujiqui FC's zone, Flávio Jacinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elói Oliveira came out of the goal and Flávio Jacinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Célio Mumbach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 minutes, Célio Mumbach mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mujiqui FC and the Nova players grew even worse after the yellow card. Célio Mumbach hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Régis Leal came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mujiqui FC's Lauro Fantini. But to his dismay, Lauro Fantini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lauro Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Régis Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Célio Mumbach left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mujiqui FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 37th minute Lauro Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nova's Régis Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauro Fantini in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half Mujiqui FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lauro Fantini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elói Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Jacinto in the 53rd minute of play. Célio Mumbach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lauro Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 60 played minutes Nova got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Rossi. In the 65th minute, Célio Mumbach ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Régis Leal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 70 minutes into the game, Nova's Flávio Jacinto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elói Oliveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Roger Peres hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Nova's zone, Célio Mumbach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Régis Leal came out of the goal and Célio Mumbach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Régis Leal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sandro Silva's late challenge caught a Nova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandro Silva helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Mujiqui FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Sandro Silva hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Artur Cordeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elói Oliveira was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. 86 minutes into the match, Mujiqui FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flávio Jacinto came free, but Elói Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Célio Mumbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Régis Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute Lauro Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Célio Mumbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Mujiqui FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
