Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manuel Travassos started the match with the kick off. Luisinho Loyola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Giovani Faria made a huge save. Luiz Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson do Vale in the 7th minute of play. Luiz Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giovani Faria made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Luisinho Loyola sent off a good shot on target. Viracaozinha's Giovani Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Travassos in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ELESTE F.C.'s zone, Frank Lima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Sergipano came out of the goal and Frank Lima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the ELESTE F.C. defense, Edmílson do Vale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luiz Sergipano. The ELESTE F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luiz Sergipano should have stopped the shot. Frank Lima took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Sergipano. Luiz Sergipano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to ELESTE F.C. getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Manuel Travassos hit a great ball. Frank Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Travassos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giovani Faria having to make a save. After 36 played minutes Viracaozinha got a freekick which was hit by Jeferson Terra. In the 38th match minute, Viracaozinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tião Vieira to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Humberto Abraão sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Viracaozinha's Giovani Faria didn't even have to move. In the 42ndth minute of the game Frank Lima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ELESTE F.C.'s Luiz Sergipano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The ELESTE F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Viracaozinha were winning 0-2.

After 54 minutes, Jeferson Terra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viracaozinha and the ELESTE F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Viracaozinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeferson Terra to maneuver through the defense. ELESTE F.C.'s Humberto Abraão couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Viracaozinha. A collision led to Viracaozinha getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Jarbas Freire hit a great ball. Joel Alves charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joel Alves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Viracaozinha booed when ELESTE F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeferson Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Edmílson do Vales short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Luiz Sergipano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 70 minutes, Tião Vieira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viracaozinha and the ELESTE F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Viracaozinha getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Tião Vieira hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Viracaozinha's goalkeeper Giovani Faria, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luiz Sergipano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 82nd minute, Manuel Travassos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ELESTE F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Luisinho Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Giovani Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luisinho Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Manuel Travassos sped through Viracaozinha's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Giovani Faria.
