Tiaguinho Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalberto Valadares having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodoro Furlan in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sílvio Luiz Mesquita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Furlan in the 33rd minute of play forced Paranvai's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Paranvai getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Eliézer Tavares hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Paranvai's Eliézer Tavares got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute Teodoro Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luiz Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Paranvai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido Pena to maneuver through the defense.

Paranvai's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
