Wágner das Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wágner das Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kaká Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otávio Quaresma, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Alberto Paulista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kaká Velloso. Andersons's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Paulista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Erivaldo Albuquerque stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elder Brasil's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otávio Quaresma in the 27th minute of play forced Andersons's goalkeeper Kaká Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Correia made in the 30th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tony de Mendonça immediately put the ball in play. Kaká Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elder Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Manguairinha SS's zone, Elder Brasil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erivaldo Albuquerque came out of the goal and Elder Brasil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kaká Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Kaká Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Cabral in the 52nd minute of play. Otávio Quaresma kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 54thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Andersons's keeper Kaká Velloso was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Andersons's Kaká Velloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Andersons from getting a goal against them. Kaká Velloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giuseppe Veiga in the 69th minute. Andersons's Dedê Aparecido managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Arnaldo Correia in the 84 minute of the game. Rodrigo Cabral received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kaká Velloso came out and tried to block the shot, but Rodrigo Cabral slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 86th minute. Kaká Velloso was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Rodrigo Cabral capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rodrigo Cabral really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Rodrigo Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaká Velloso having to interfere. Manguairinha SS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
