Jânio Marques made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Tarcisio Lima sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th match minute, Paraty FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernani Prata to maneuver through the defense. Tarcisio Lima could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Jânio Marques made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Arce in the 18th minute of play forced Sarvuela FC's goalkeeper Chicão Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renatinho Rodrigues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Jânio Marques made a huge save. In the 31stth minute of the game Cipriano Corrêa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraty FC's Jânio Marques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ernani Prata fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraty FC's protests and gave Ernani Prata a yellow card for diving instead. Ernani Prata hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Sarvuela FC's Matheus Neves couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Paraty FC. In the 40th minute of the match Dino Arósio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jânio Marques skillfully saved the ball. After 45 minutes of play, Paraty FC's Genílson Corrêa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chicão Barral was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
