Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Renato Cruz kicked off to start the match. Teodoro Mangueira did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Wanderson Donato 7 minutes into the match. Wanderson Donato made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Teodoro Mangueira sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the game, Renato Cruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guatuba FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itaipuacu the free kick. Renato Cruz hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Teodoro Mangueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adelino de Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wanderson Donato having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wanderson Donato prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wiliam Britto's late challenge caught a Itaipuacu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wiliam Britto helped the player get up and apologised. Teodoro Mangueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wanderson Donato having to make a save. Wanderson Donato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guatuba FC's Wanderson Donato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Guatuba FC from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adelino de Azevedo made a kick off. Itaipuacu's Dorian Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Itaipuacu from getting a goal against them. Adelino de Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Wanderson Donato tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 78 minutes, Adolfo Brasil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itaipuacu and the Guatuba FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. One of Guatuba FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Itaipuacu:s goal. If Teodoro Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Itaipuacu walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
