An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Christiano Machado got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Christiano Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Bujaru AD's Ismael Marquez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Renato Motta. Renato Motta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Renato Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Marquez in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Patis's zone, Ismael Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renato Motta came out of the goal and Ismael Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dalmo Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvaldo Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christiano Machado got free with Renato Motta in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Naldo Coutinho made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Bujaru AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Meira to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Bujaru AD's zone, Naldo Coutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmo Silva came out of the goal and Naldo Coutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dalmo Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naldo Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Renato Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiano Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renato Motta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ismael Marquez went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Dalmo Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naldo Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Naldo Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Dalmo Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
