Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ciro Pernambucano started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betinho Koehler in the 3rd minute of play forced Heróis Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Luís Paulo Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Uraricoera EC's zone, Ciro Pernambucano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Paulo Linares came out of the goal and Ciro Pernambucano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Anselmo Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heróis Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Cardozo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Paulo Linares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Paulo Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the game, Betinho Koehler recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luís Paulo Pinho. Betinho Koehler showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Luís Paulo Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbson Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the game, Róbson Mattos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luís Paulo Pinho. Róbson Mattos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Betinho Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Paulo Pinho having to interfere. Marcelo Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. João Paulo Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uraricoera EC's João Paulo Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Pernambucano in the 34th minute of play. Heróis Futebol Clube's Marcelo Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Paulo Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Moreira in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Uraricoera EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Botelho to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Uraricoera EC's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Goiano came free, but João Paulo Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Betinho Koehler to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Heróis Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Anselmo Cardozo hit a great ball. Uraricoera EC's Valério Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Betinho Koehler in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Paulo Pinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Uraricoera EC's Isaltino Duarte got a free kick in the 58th minute. When Danilo Goiano came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Heróis Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Goiano couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Heróis Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ciro Pernambucano hit a great ball. Valério Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Paulo Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valério Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 77 minutes of play, Uraricoera EC's Valério Luz made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Paulo Pinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Marcelo Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot.
