Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Naldo Coutinho made the kick off which started today's match. Edvaldo Pombal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but João Paulo Linares made a huge save. A collision led to Uraricoera EC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Délio Breckenfeld hit a great ball. Patis's Zé Paulo de Sena couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Uraricoera EC. If Edvaldo Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edvaldo Pombal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but João Paulo Linares made a huge save. Naldo Coutinho might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Paulo Linares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Naldo Coutinho ran back to his position shaking his head. After 20 played minutes Patis got a freekick which was hit by Beto Godoi. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Patis! 25 minutes into the game, Bruninho da Silveira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Renato Motta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute Naldo Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Edvaldo Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Patis's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvaldo Pombal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Paulo Linares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 38 played minutes Patis got a freekick which was hit by José Augusto Macedo. Valério Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renato Motta having to interfere. Edvaldo Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Paulo Linares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Naldo Coutinho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 47 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valério Luz to strike the kick off in the second half. João Paulo Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clóvis Netto in the 54th minute of play. In the 60th minute Edvaldo Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Paulo Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Patis's goal looked a bit too open when Valério Luz came free, but Renato Motta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valério Luz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Renato Motta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Patis's Edvaldo Pombal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Paulo Linares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 91st minute, Clóvis Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uraricoera EC's João Paulo Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvaldo Pombal in the 93rd minute of play. If Naldo Coutinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Paulo Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naldo Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Patis players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
