Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Francisco Vale started the match with the kick off. Cristóvão Linares hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After 5 played minutes AceguaFM got a freekick which was hit by Rogério da Fonseca. Donato Cerezo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Sílvio Luiz Meirelles skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 9 played minutes AceguaFM got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Silva. João Francisco Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luiz Meirelles having to interfere. In the 15th minute João Pedro de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Pedro de Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Rubinho Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Cerezo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Sílvio Luiz Meirelles skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. João Francisco Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Matarandiba SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! Rubinho Massa went to the wrong direction when João Augusto França was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Donato Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Pedro de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Dinei Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot. AceguaFM's supporters rose to their feet, but Dinei Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rubinho Massa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Danilo Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubinho Massa having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Pedro de Andrade to make the kick off. When Danilo Silva fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AceguaFM's protests and gave Danilo Silva a yellow card for diving instead. Sílvio Luiz Meirelles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Francisco Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Matarandiba SC's Donato Cerezo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sílvio Luiz Meirelles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Danilo Silva got his second yellow card in the match during the 58th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, AceguaFM's Danilo Silva got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco Vale in the 62nd minute of play forced AceguaFM's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Meirelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Matarandiba SC's João Francisco Vale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sílvio Luiz Meirelles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Dinei Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dinei Correia came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the AceguaFM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinei Correia couldn't finish the play. If João Francisco Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Donato Cerezo came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Matarandiba SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Cerezo couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, AceguaFM's Cristóvão Linares got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Manolo Freire, 84 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Serafim Ferreira came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Matarandiba SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafim Ferreira couldn't finish the play. João Francisco Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Matarandiba SC's goalkeeper Rubinho Massa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dinei Correia. Matarandiba SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
