Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Leandro Tande started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ademir Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 8 played minutes Araguary got a freekick which was hit by Kléber Cruz. If Teodoro de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Araguary's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro de Azevedo came free, but José Carlos de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Ademir Rocha made a precise shot to the right of José Carlos de Carvalho. Araguary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ademir Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Carlos de Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Lúcio Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Erasmo de Souza made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Teodoro de Azevedo made the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the game, Luizão de Almeida was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gesteira EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Araguary the free kick. Luizão de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Leandro Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lúcio Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo de Souza having to interfere. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gesteira EC's goalkeeper Erasmo de Souza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leandro Tande in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasmo de Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro de Azevedo in the 75th minute of play forced Araguary's goalkeeper José Carlos de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Araguary booed when Gesteira EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovanni de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Paulo Ceresso might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erasmo de Souza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Paulo Ceresso ran back to his position shaking his head. José Carlos de Carvalho was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Teodoro de Azevedo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teodoro de Azevedo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Teodoro de Azevedo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 89th minute. Gesteira EC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 91 played minutes Gesteira EC got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni de Souza. Leandro Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Hugo Paranaense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Gesteira EC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Araguary.
