Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hermínio Miranda took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Hermínio Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Francisco de Amaral in the 9th minute of play forced Forteleza FC's goalkeeper Kauã Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastião Marinho during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Forteleza FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Sebastião Marinho hit a great ball. Casinha's Elói dos Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the game, Raphael Meirelles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Forteleza FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Casinha the free kick. Elói dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Kauã Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casinha's João Francisco de Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute Hermínio Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Álvaro Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Forteleza FC's zone, João Francisco de Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kauã Santos came out of the goal and João Francisco de Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastião Marinho hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When Casinha's João Francisco de Amaral in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Forteleza FC's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Francisco de Amaral was the one to do the kick off. João Francisco de Amaral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Fernando Queiroz hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Kauã Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elói dos Santos in the 56th minute of play. Elói dos Santos struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Kauã Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casinha. In the 64thth minute of the game João Francisco de Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Forteleza FC's Kauã Santos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Forteleza FC! Miguel Fonseca placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! If João Francisco de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermínio Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson Saldanha having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Forteleza FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Francisco de Amaral came free, but Kauã Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 minutes of play, Casinha's João Francisco de Amaral made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kauã Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 87th minute of the match Zé Donatello sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kauã Santos skillfully saved the ball. Nilson Saldanha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Róbson Mattos in the 88th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lúcio Britto during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Casinha getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Lúcio Britto hit a great ball. Nilson Saldanha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hermínio Miranda's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Nilson Saldanha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Róbson Mattos in the 99th minute. There was no doubt that Casinha were the better team. Casinha's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
