Pedro Luiz Fernandes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Jorginho Marquez 28 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luiz Fernandes in the 31st minute of play forced CESC FC's goalkeeper Jorginho Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to CESC FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Víktor Meira hit a great ball. Jorginho Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luiz Fernandes in the 43rd minute of play. Erasmo Gaspar was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Erasmo Gaspar hit a great ball. CESC FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
