Laércio Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Luisinho Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Paulo Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Ramiro Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luiz Pitta having to interfere. Maurício Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sílvio Luiz Pitta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramiro Secco in the 26th minute. Sílvio Luiz Pitta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício Barbosa in the 27th minute of the match. Ramiro Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Maurício Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Monsanto SS's Cristóvão Alagoano in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye King Pelé U18's goalie prevented a goal. Sílvio Luiz Pitta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramiro Secco in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Monsanto SS's goal looked a bit too open when Maurício Barbosa came free, but Sílvio Luiz Pitta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, King Pelé U18's Maurício Barbosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sílvio Luiz Pitta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 41 minutes into the match, Monsanto SS's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Pitta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiro Secco. Cristóvão Alagoano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The supporters of Monsanto SS booed when King Pelé U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederico Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Pedro Paulo Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monsanto SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Paulo Moraes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisinho Messias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sílvio Luiz Pitta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurício Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Secco in the 56th minute of play forced Monsanto SS's goalkeeper Sílvio Luiz Pitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st match minute, Monsanto SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristóvão Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. After 79 played minutes Monsanto SS got a freekick which was hit by João Adolfo Matos. In the 86th minute Ramiro Secco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luiz Pitta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Laércio Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sílvio Luiz Pitta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício Barbosa in the 88th minute of the match. Sílvio Luiz Pitta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maurício Barbosa went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Monsanto SS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for King Pelé U18.
