GIGANTE DA COLINA's Matías Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durval Paraibano in the 29th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mirity SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! Régis Britto shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Pedro Luís Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Guilherme Rosa having to interfere. With a little luck, Mirity SC's Luís Guilherme Rosa got control of the ball when Hélder Abreu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Durval Paraibano was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Matías Quadros managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Mirity SC's Durval Paraibano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Durval Paraibano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ediberto Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Régis Britto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Guilherme Rosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Hélder Abreu might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Guilherme Rosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hélder Abreu ran back to his position shaking his head. Hélder Abreu hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Sérgio das Neves made in the 76th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Durval Paraibano immediately put the ball in play. Régis Britto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Guilherme Rosa having to interfere. A collision led to Mirity SC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Joélson Sá hit a great ball. Daniel Ramalho got a throw-in 82 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sérgio das Neves. After having played for 84 minutes, Durval Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mirity SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Durval Paraibano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute, Pedro Luís Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Ramalho made in the 88th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by GIGANTE DA COLINA's Hélder Abreu. Durval Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Hélder Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mirity SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GIGANTE DA COLINA.
