The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramón Cavalcante showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Pedro Baptista in the 7th minute of play forced Canarana SC's goalkeeper Lenílson Campidelis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diogo Fernandez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramón Cavalcante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Canarana SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tupa SS the free kick. 80 minutes into the match, Diogo Fernandez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ramón Cavalcante. Tupa SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diogo Fernandez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
