In the 3rd match minute, Pen Drive 32GB FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Tande to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pen Drive 32GB FC's goalkeeper Sebastião Toscano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ciro Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Digo Peixoto having to interfere. If Dário Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Digo Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeu Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Digo Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Tande in the 40th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ara's Mazinho Massa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sebastião Toscano. That made the score 2-0 after 43 minutes of play. If Ciro Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mazinho Massa to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Pen Drive 32GB FC's Hílton de Queiroz got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Sebastião Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mazinho Massa in the 53rd minute of the match. Pen Drive 32GB FC's Dário Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastião Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazinho Massa in the 62nd minute of play. Dário Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Digo Peixoto having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Azevedo in the 68th minute of play forced Ara's goalkeeper Digo Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastião Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavinho Britto, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, Pen Drive 32GB FC's Rafael de Barros got a free kick in the 70th minute. Mazinho Massa might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastião Toscano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mazinho Massa ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 76th minute Flavinho Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Dário Azevedo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Digo Peixoto, passed just outside the right post. When Renato Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ara's protests and gave Renato Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ara getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Renato Fonseca hit a great ball. In the 96th minute Ciro Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Digo Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ara were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Pen Drive 32GB FC for a fine match.
