Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fiori Vale took the kick off in the first half of the match. Retirinho's Bebeto Botelho got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fiori Vale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Víktor Nogueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Geovanni Moraes made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Bebeto Botelho sent off a good shot on target. Lauro Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute Lauro Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donatello Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donatello Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Víktor Nogueira having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Piabanha got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Pereira. Lauro Eger struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Geovanni Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Retirinho. In the 44th minute, Bebeto Botelho had to leave the field with a concussion. André Luiz Mattos charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed André Luiz Mattos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Piabanha's André Luiz Mattos got a free kick in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Lauro Eger made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Piabanha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fiori Vale to maneuver through the defense. Geovanni Moraes came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Retirinho's Lauro Eger. But to his dismay, Lauro Eger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Retirinho getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Gilvan Schmidt hit a great ball. Víktor Nogueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donatello Paiva in the 61st minute. Retirinho's Víktor Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiori Vale in the 68th minute of play. If Donatello Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fiori Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Víktor Nogueira having to interfere. Donatello Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lauro Eger struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Geovanni Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Retirinho.
