Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Zé Paulo Montenegro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Remo Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo Montenegro in the 3rd minute of play. In the 3rd match minute, Pradinia SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Augusto Arruda to maneuver through the defense. André Luís Breckenfeld's late challenge caught a Pradinia SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Luís Breckenfeld helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes Ponteira FC got a freekick which was hit by André Luís Breckenfeld. Edgar Secco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gustavo Neto. Ponteira FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. José Augusto Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Gustavo Neto managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Pradinia SC's Reynaldo Barros fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo Montenegro in the 20th minute of play forced Pradinia SC's goalkeeper Remo Figueiredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pradinia SC's Reynaldo Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Remo Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Paulo Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ponteira FC's André Luís Breckenfeld got a free kick in the 25th minute. Luís Antonio kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 28 played minutes Ponteira FC got a freekick which was hit by Cléber Soeiro. 1-0 became the score in the 31st minute when Reynaldo Barros elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 34 played minutes Pradinia SC got a freekick which was hit by Armandinho de Lara. Pradinia SC's Remo Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Paulo Montenegro in the 41st minute of play. In the 45th minute, Edgar Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pradinia SC's Reynaldo Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reynaldo Barros made a kick off. Emílio Hames received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Remo Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pradinia SC's Reynaldo Barros in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ponteira FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gustavo Neto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reynaldo Barros's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After having played for 70 minutes, Tadeu Meireles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pradinia SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeu Meireles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Barros in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Neto saved Ponteira FC from getting behind. Remo Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo Montenegro in the 77th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giovani Cavalcante during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Giovani Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute of the match Edgar Secco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Neto skillfully saved the ball. Remo Figueiredo made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Emílio Hames sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pradinia SC had won after a very even match.
