The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dino Sena was the one to do the kick off. Luís Brasil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Aguiar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Haroldo Félix during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luís Brasil did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Gustavo Aguiar 75 minutes into the match. Luís Brasil received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gustavo Aguiar came out and tried to block the shot, but Luís Brasil slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 81st minute. With an all-out effort, Argenta AD's Gustavo Aguiar threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luís Brasil, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thomás Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Argenta AD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
