The supporters of Baioes booed when Juraci AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Paulo Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 played minutes Juraci AD got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Paulo Recife. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Juraci AD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luiz Guilherme Vargas was slow to take the kick. During this time Baioes's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Luiz Guilherme Vargas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Olívio Nogueira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 18th minute Diogo Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Juraci AD's goalkeeper Olívio Nogueira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 20 minutes, Diogo Falcão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baioes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diogo Falcão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juraci AD were furious when Dé de Alcântara was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 26th minute, one of Juraci AD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Juraci AD. Olívio Nogueira had in the 28thth minute some difficulties stopping Luiz Guilherme Vargas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 28th minute, Luiz Guilherme Vargas made a precise shot to the right of Olívio Nogueira. Juraci AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Diogo Falcão came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Baioes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diogo Falcão couldn't finish the play. Olívio Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Falcão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narciso Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sílvio Luiz Pontes charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sílvio Luiz Pontes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Narciso Paranaense struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Olívio Nogueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baioes. When Zé Paulo Motta fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juraci AD's protests and gave Zé Paulo Motta a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Juraci AD fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Baioes. Luiz Guilherme Vargas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Olívio Nogueira. 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narciso Paranaense to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, João Francisco Ortiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juraci AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baioes the free kick. In the 51st match minute, Juraci AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Francisco Ortiz to maneuver through the defense. After 56 minutes, Luiz Paulo Recife mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juraci AD and the Baioes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Juraci AD's zone, Diogo Falcão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olívio Nogueira came out of the goal and Diogo Falcão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Baioes's Narciso Paranaense in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Juraci AD's goalie prevented a goal. Faustão Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jânio Moura in the 66th minute of the match. Narciso Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olívio Nogueira having to interfere. Diogo Falcão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juraci AD's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Narciso Paranaense 79 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. 1-4 became the score in the 87th minute when Diogo Falcão elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Olívio Nogueira made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Diogo Falcão sent off a good shot on target. Juraci AD's Olívio Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Paranaense in the 93rd minute of play. Olívio Nogueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diogo Falcão in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Baioes left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Juraci AD.
